HOLE IN THE WALL FALLS

LANCASTER FALLS

LANCASTER FALLS

CABIN CREEK FALLS

The Lancaster Falls hike allows you to see three impressive falls via a 1.8-mile round-trip hike located just off the I-84 freeway. The trail actually follows right along the freeway for the first half-mile or so, so it can be pretty noisy. The first waterfall you will come to is Cabin Creek Falls, followed by Hole in the Wall Falls, which is actually a man-made waterfall created in the 1930's by highway crews drilling a hole in the rock to divert the creek.

After Hole in the Wall Falls the trail will climb up, away from the highway to Lancaster Falls. It can be hard to get a great view of Lancaster Falls from the trail, but if you are daring, there is a very steep trail heading right up the side of the waterfall which will give you better views of its upper sections.
